Tumbled Finish

Creating Tumbled Finish
To achieve a tumbled finish, tiles are placed in a rotating drum with various abrasive materials such as aggregate, small stones, gravel, and sand. As the tiles tumble over the aggregate and each other, their surfaces and edges wear down gradually. This tumbling action creates continuous friction which leads to softened edges and a worn surface texture.
